Fox River Macroinvertebrate Study (IBI) NES stream  ecology experts surveyed for aquatic insects and other invertebrates in the Fox River near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Our expertise in invertebrate identification allows us to use any number of Indices for Biotic Integrity (IBI) to evaluate stream health. Our laboratory is well equipped to handle any invertebrate or fisheries taxonomy. NES has completed many IBI investigations in several states. We have experience with procedures in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Ohio and Michigan. Our biologists are HAZMAT certified and have undertaken investigations involving pipeline problems, mine land reclaimation, forestry practices and contaminated sites.
