Grandmother Falls Flowage Dam Relicensing Study NES biologists teamed with surveyors and GIS specialists from our parent company, Robert E. Lee & Associates, to complete assessments of the biota and bathymetry of the Grandmother Falls Resevoir and tributaries. This work, part of the requirements for Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) dam relicensing, included detailed botanical surveys and reviews of insect populations. NES is involved with various aspects of dams including FERC relicensing, reservoir bank restoration, fisheries management and small dam removal/restoration.
