Appleton/Menasha Wetland Restoration NES designed and implemented forested wetland restorations in the cities of Menasha and Neenah, WI. NES assisted clients by developing/implementing a plan to restore damaged wetlands, including design, native plantings, and installing culverts for animal passage. These projects will be fully completed by the Spring of 2001. NES coordinated with the U.S. EPA, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Wisconsin DNR and the City of Menasha to successfully complete the restoration projects. Each project will be monitored to ensure that wetland hydrology, soils and vegetation are well established within the wetland.
